Carmabi Foundation

For Carmabi Foundation, located in Piscadera we fulfilled the position of marketing manager for almost 2 years with subsidiary freelancer Make My Day Marketing. Caribbean Research and Management of Biodiversity (CARMABI) is a non-profit foundation on the island of Curaçao, established in 1955. The organization started as a marine research institute, but during the years, focused more and more on nature management and environmental education. Now the organization exists of 4 departments; Marine Research Station, Park Management, Nature and Environment Education and Terrestrial Research and Consultancy. Carmabi also manages the national park Shete Boka and the Christoffelpark on Curacao.

During that time we provided:

• Marketing Advice
• Website development
• Organizing events and fundraising activities
• Market research for Christoffelpark
• Write marketingplans and promotional plans
• Create the annual report
• Assistance with foreign visitors (ambassadors/press/political groups)
